Pablo Angueira
Professor,Dpt. of Electronics and Telecommunications, The University of the Basque Country

Prof. Pablo Angueira (MSc’97 PhD’2002) joined the Dpt. of Electronics and Telecommunications of the University of the Basque Country in 1998. Within the TSR Research Group, he has been involved in several research projects for standardization and testing digital broadcasting (DVB-T, DRM, T-DAB, DVB-T2, DVB-NGH). Pablo Angueira is co-author of an extense list of papers in international peer reviewed journals and a large number of conference presentations in digital broadcasting and has supervised several PhD dissertations in this field. He has also co-authored several contributions to the ITU-R working groups WP6 and WP3. Dr. Angueira is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Broadcasting journal and Chairs the Strategic Planning Committee of the Broadcast Technology Society Administrative Committee.

Heung Mook Kim
Director,Terrestrial Broadcasting Technology Research Section at Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI)

Heung Mook Kim is Director of Terrestrial Broadcasting Technology Research Section at Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) in Daejeon, Korea where he has been involved in many research and development programs for digital terrestrial broadcast television since 2004. Before joining ETRI, he has been with a broadcast equipment manufacturing company and POSCO Technology Research Laboratory as a research engineer. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electronics and electrical engineering from POSTECH in Pohang, Korea, and Ph.D. degree in information and communications engineering from KAIST in Daejeon, Korea. His research interests are in the areas of digital and RF signal processing and RF transmission for digital communications and digital television. Currently, he mainly involves in the development of standards for next generation terrestrial broadcasting.
