Management Committee Face to Face Meeting Held and New Chairs of MC and TC Elected

Las Vegas, April 20, 2016 – The FOBTV Management Committee held its face to face meeting on April 20th in the Las Vegas Convention Center during the 2016 NAB Show. The meeting was chaired by Wenjun Zhang from the National Engineering Research Center of Digital Television (NERC-DTV) of China, with participation from FOBTV MC Members.

According to the terms of the FOBTV Memorandum of Understanding, new chairs were elected at this meeting: Lynn Claudy from the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and Yiyan Wu from Communications Research Centre Canada (CRC) were elected as the Chair and Vice Chair of this year’s Management Committee. The Management Committee expressed its appreciation to Wenjun Zhang from National Engineering Research Center of Digital Television (NERC-DTV) for his great contributions as MC Chair in the last term.
Also, Yao Wang from National Engineering Research Center of Digital Television (NERC-DTV) was elected as the acting Chair of the Technical Committee. The Management Committee expressed its appreciation to Yiyan Wu from Communications Research Centre Canada (CRC) for his great contributions as TC Chair in the last term.

FOBTV is a voluntary, non-profit association that is open to any organization that signs the MOU, which underscores the goals of the FOBTV Initiative.
